Based on everything that has taken place in the story thus far, make a prediction about what's going to happen next.

I believe that there will be a war and people will find out the truth about Duncan's death. Because of this, instead of just overthrowing Macbeth, they will kill him.
After a long war, I think that Macbeth will be overthrown and Malcolm will take the throne amd restore Scotland to its proper status. Macbeth would be executed for being a tyrant/traitor.
I think that the witches will give Macbeth a new prophecy and he'll think he's amazing and go into war with England and Macduff. However, being the foil he is, Macduff will be able to worm around the prophecy and kill Macbeth. Malcomn will then take the throne back and everyone will live happily ever after.
Jacque Ryan Based on the story so far I predict that next there will be a major conflict. Not only between the two armies but between Macduff and Macbeth. I think that a quarrel will ensue and perhaps will result in Macbeth's death.
I predict that Macbeth is going to suddenly become less cautious in trying to conceal the murders. I think that perhaps he will slip up and then more of his subjects will begin to think that he killed Duncan.
They are going to go to war in England and they will figure out that Macbeth killed the King, Banquo and the two guards and punish Macbeth. I think at the end of the story they will kill Macbeth and Lady Macbeth. Then Malcolm will become Kings.
I think that the two armies of Macbeth and Macduff will finally face each other. But that part will be insignificant. I believe that the important (and most interesting) part will be if/when Macbeth and Macduff finally face each other. I think that they will have to fight one on one and that the winner of that battle will decide the kingdom's fate. I also believe that the winner will be Macduff because this is a story about a tragic hero and what sort of story would it be if Macbeth lived on?
Taylor I think that a strenuous war is about to occur. The outcome of the war will end in the overthrowing of Macbeth as king. Macduff will end up making sure that everyone knows the crimes Macbeth has made, and thus leading to the execution of Macbeth. The new king will be named to be Malcom.
Does anyone remember the original prophecies? Hmmm where to start... I believe that war is inevitable and there will be many casualties including Macbeth, Malcolm, and Donalbain. Macduff will triumph in the war and the people will look to him to be the king. However, being the awesome, cool, noble, and awesome person that Macduff is, he will decline the role of king and FLEANCE will take the throne thus fulfilling Banquo's prophecy. Thank you
This is pretty obvious. Everything that Macbeth is doing is leading to his own death. With the war coming, Macbeth might die, and if doesn't die, all of the things that he has done will catch up with him and he will be seen as a bad king and will be decapitated! :(
I think that Macbeth is going to start a war, and because many people suspect him of Duncan and Banquo's deaths, I think someone will try to kill Macbeth in revenge. And, I'm not quite sure why I think this but for some reason I can see Lady Macbeth committing suicide. She just seems like the type of person that would take the easy way out once her evil intentions and deeds have been discovered.

I would predict that there would be a long morbid war. Macbeth would probably be slain and Malcolm would take his rightful place on the throne.

From what I can tell, the next conflict will test Macbeth's tragic flaw, his need for security, and he will be defeated for it.

I would also like to say that making little faces on this thing is awesome... :P
Sorry Mrs. Matysak :)

I think elliott is right. I completly forgot about considering the original prophecies until i read elliott's blog... nice think'n! :D
Fleance can't just become king, but that doesn't mean that eventually one day one of Banquo's kids wont.
Elliott
But it never suggests that Banquo has another son? Or does this mean that it could also be a grandson?
